Vera Wang for David’s Bridal?
Yes it’s happening! The iconic wedding gown designer who has become synonomous with high-end couture bridal fashion has joined forces with David’s Bridal to create a collection of 20 wedding dresses ranging from $600-$1500, with most coming in under $1200.
The line will hit David’s Bridal stores next Spring 2011, beginning with wedding dresses, and then possibly bridal dresses, shoes, and children’s attire after that.
“I am thrilled for the chance to bring my very specific vision to David’s Bridal, the biggest wedding retailer in America,” says Wang. “The ability to grow my sphere of influence in the bridal world is both a huge creative and business opportunity and one I am so excited about. With this new challenge, I hope to speak with a level of taste and authority that will resonate with brides everywhere.
