One of Ceremony’s favorite bridal boutiques The White Flower in San Diego, offers a tasteful array of exclusive designers. While perusing through their beautiful selection, one of their European designers caught my eye. Known for creating gowns of elegance and comfort, Sassi Holford is a self-taught English designer. Her hand made modern gowns can be found draping royalty, but doesn’t every bride deserve royal treatment on her day?

Glamour glittered on the red carpet at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night. These stunning metallic showstoppers can certainly inspire Wedding Day fashion for not only a dramatic bride but also her entourage. Who says the Mother-of-the-Occassion has to look matronly? She too can sparkle on the special day!

LA based photographer Mariano Lozano contributed this theatrical fashion shoot for the 2010 Orange County edition, shot at the historical Ebell of Los Angeles. As a patron of all things dramatic , I wanted to share these stunning images shot onstage.

Truth be told, your wedding day definitely puts you on center stage.

Vera Wang for David’s Bridal?
Yes it’s happening! The iconic wedding gown designer who has become synonomous with high-end couture bridal fashion has joined forces with David’s Bridal to create a collection of 20 wedding dresses ranging from $600-$1500, with most coming in under $1200.
The line will hit David’s Bridal stores next Spring 2011, beginning with wedding dresses, and then possibly bridal dresses, shoes, and children’s attire after that.
“I am thrilled for the chance to bring my very specific vision to David’s Bridal, the biggest wedding retailer in America,” says Wang. “The ability to grow my sphere of influence in the bridal world is both a huge creative and business opportunity and one I am so excited about. With this new challenge, I hope to speak with a level of taste and authority that will resonate with brides everywhere. This association represents the next logical step for someone who has spent 20 years building a relevant and respected bridal brand. I can’t think of a more strategic or promising time to grow a new segment of my business than now!”
The images featured above are from the Spring 2011 collection for Vera Wang, featured this past April at Bridal Market. We shall wait to see her designs for David’s Bridal!!!

Urban Outfitters is busting into the WEDDING business! Expect to see a BRAND NEW WEDDING & BRIDAL LINE in the trendy Philadelphia-based retail stores debuting Valentine’s Day 2011. The (currently unnamed) line will feature gowns, accessories, decor and gifts for the edgy, contemporary bride who seeks an alternatively-styled affair. The Urban Outfitters consumer has reached the age to be foraying into the world of wedding bliss – so why shouldn’t the billion dollar company take part? They already keep our closets and house in check, now it’s time to style our nuptials. I can see an Urban Baby line in the immediate future…

Can’t wait to see the collection! Stay tuned!

The countdown has begun – Sex and the City 2 hits theaters May 27th! Ladies EVERYWHERE will be going crazy for the sequel starring our favorite fashionistas hitting the Moroccan desert! Although this film’s story will tell what happens AFTER you get married… Ceremony would LOVE to pay homage to a certain pair of Manolo Blahnik’s featured in Season 6 of the HBO series. These FABULOUS Manolo’s became SO FAMOUS from SATC, that they have become one of the most popular designer wedding shoe! When a Sex and the City single girl gets married – she must do it Manolo-style!
